TRACEABILITY

Sidama in southern Ethiopia is celebrated as one of the world’s most distinguished coffee-growing regions—and Sidama Bensa beautifully represents its excellence. Sourced from the Ayla Washing Station in the highlands of Sidama, this coffee is cultivated by dedicated smallholder farmers who grow their crops organically at impressive altitudes, where cooler temperatures slow cherry maturation and enhance flavor complexity.

Carefully natural processed, only the ripest cherries are hand-selected before being sun-dried on raised beds for over two weeks. They are turned regularly and shielded from the harsh midday sun to ensure even drying. This meticulous attention allows each bean to develop remarkable sweetness, density, and layered complexity.

In the cup, Sidama Bensa is vibrant and fruit-forward, opening with bright notes of grapefruit and ripe citrus. Hints of cocoa and nutmeg add warmth, while delicate florals—jasmine and lavender—bring elegance and aroma. A creamy mouthfeel and lively acidity make it equally captivating as a filter brew or a refined espresso.

Sidama Bensa is more than a coffee—it’s a celebration of Sidama’s high-altitude terroir, the craftsmanship of Ethiopian farmers, and the extraordinary potential of specialty coffee at its finest.
